A customer of ours had a full-size, unfinished basement that they wanted to turn into a nice home theatre and family game room. We jumped right in to give them a beautiful climate-controlled, fully finished basement, with a powder room.
To start out, we sealed the floors and walls, then moved to framing the walls, and running electrical, plumbing, and duct work.
Once the final electrical wiring, duct work, and plumbing are in, we then insulate before drywalling.
With a drop ceiling and drywall up, we install the trim-work and paint before the carpeting was installed.
The home theatre area has a coffered ceiling for better acoustics and feel. Now time for carpet, and the finished powder room.
The Customer was thoroughly pleased with the final result. They can now comfortably enjoy some games and home theatre entertainment year round, along with the added value of a convenient powder room, mechanical upgrades, and more finished storage areas.
